Europe IOM championship

Europe has begun the IOM championship, the IOM’s big names are there, Graham Bantock, Bradley Gibson, Robert Grubisa, Zvonko Jelacic actual world champion with Pikanto, Mickael Scharmer, Trevor Binks, Soren Andresen and many others are there sailing, racing and disclosing their boats and technological innovations. Undoubtedly it is a great moment in the IOM class, virtually a mini world. The competition program from the IOMICA website  :

Programme

  • 24th June Initial closing date for entries
  • 08th July Allocation of places
  • 01st September Final date for submission of IOM Class Certificates
  • 24th – 25th September Registration, Practice, Equipment Inspection
  • 26th September Equipment Inspection : 8h30-11h – 12h first warning signal
  • 27th – 28th September Racing days (09:00 first warning signal)
  • 29th September Reserve day (The day may be used for racing if 10 completed races
  • have not been achieved at the end of September 28st)
  • 30th September– 2nd
  • October
  • Racing days (09:00 first warning signal, 16:00 last warning signal for
  • the last race on October 2nd
  • 2nd October Award ceremony

and coolest thing is that the site promises live video. So, possibly, we could see the races live.
